Angling Stays — Customer Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions

1. About Us

These Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all gift voucher purchases made through www.AnglingStays.com (“the Website”), operated by Angling Stays Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Nature of the Voucher

Each gift voucher relates to a specific angling stay or experience provided by a participating accommodation owner (“the Owner”) listed on our Website.

The voucher entitles the holder to redeem the stay directly with the Owner within the voucher’s validity period.

The Owner is solely responsible for delivering the accommodation and experience described.

3. Validity and Redemption

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable, and have no cash value.
Vouchers can only be redeemed directly with the specified Owner as detailed on the voucher.
Redemption is subject to the Owner’s availability, booking terms, and seasonal restrictions.
Bookings must be made in advance using the contact details provided on the voucher.

4. Payment and Distribution

Payment for vouchers is processed securely through Stripe at checkout.
Upon purchase, the payment is automatically split via Stripe Connect:
Pre agreed amount is transferred directly to the Owner.
15% is retained by Angling Stays Ltd as our commission and facilitation fee.
This split occurs immediately when the customer completes the payment.

5. Delivery of Vouchers

Vouchers are delivered automatically by email after successful payment.
Each voucher includes: property name, owner contact, voucher value, expiry date, and a link to these Terms.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Once purchased, vouchers cannot be cancelled, refunded, or exchanged for cash.
If an Owner is unable to honour a voucher, they must offer an alternative date or equivalent stay.
Angling Stays Ltd is not responsible for issuing refunds on behalf of Owners.

7. Our Role

Angling Stays Ltd acts as a marketing and payment facilitation platform.

We do not own, manage, or operate the listed properties.

We are not a party to the contract between the customer and the Owner.

Any issues relating to the stay, including cancellations or complaints, must be directed to the Owner.

8. Liability

Angling Stays Ltd shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment arising from the use of a voucher or the stay itself, except where required by UK consumer law.

9. Data Protection

All personal data collected during the purchase process is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
