Accommodation Details
4 canvas cottages , each sleeping up to 6 guests.
The site is open from Easter to October half term.
Each cottage comprises double bedroom, twin room (2 single beds), king size cabin bed (with storage / play area underneath), kitchen with fridge, sink and hob, dining area with table seating 6, living area, wood burner, and outdoor decking with hot tub.
The living area is open-plan with plenty of room for families and friends. A solid, wood-burning stove, and generous sofa ensure a cosy retreat even in the colder seasons.
Kitchens are equipped with all you need for dining (tea, coffee, sugar, pots, pans cutlery etc) and come with a four-ring induction hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. Keep your food cool in the undercounter fridge with inbuilt freezer. If outside cooking is more your style, then the firepits come with grills.
Large decking area with firepit and private hot tub, perfect for a crisp morning or a starry night.
The large bathrooms have everything you need with all the necessities, electric shower, sink and toilet. Fluffy towels and luxury soaps are provided.
All beds come with comfortable mattresses and 13.0 tog duck feather and down duvets and pillows, plus blankets should you need them.
All canvas cottages are serviced with locally produced renewable energy, hot and cold running water, site-wide Wi-Fi, and the heat from a wood burning stove.
If you are bringing along your little one then please let the owners know as they can provide a travel cot, high chair, bed and fire guards if required.
All wood and fire lighting material is provided and openly available to use during your stay on both the fire pit and wood burner. If you prefer cooking on coals then please bring these for your fire pit.
The farm has its own honesty shop for essentials and homemade apple juice as-well
There is parking just behind your tent.
You will have full private access to the River Wye with the option to take part in canoe and kayaking activities provided through a local company.
You can hire paddle boards and e-bikes on site.

Dogs welcome (fees apply, maximum of 3 dogs per tent.
In the colder months, at the ends of the season, beds are fitted with electric blankets to ensure you sleep in warmth and comfort.

Welcome to our farm where we have grown up on, and I am surer you will soon realise why we have never left! We set up the accommodation in 2019 so others could enjoy it. Swap the rush of daily life for the peace and tranquillity of nature without forgoing home comforts and luxuries. Read that book at last, play cards or board games, spend time together by the fire. Relax and indulge in the stunning far-reaching views, peace, and starry nights from the decking or your own hot tub. Walk along, go for a paddle, fish, or even take a wild swim in the River Wye. Listen to a soundtrack of rustling leaves in the breeze, birdsong, children’s laughter, and the crackling of logs on the fire. Treat yourself to local produce and award-winning local hospitality. Pricing
- From £175 / night.
- Minimum stay - 2 nights depending on the season / weekly timing.
- Weekend stays are either 2 nights (Friday - Sunday) with late checkout (4pm) included on the Sunday, or 3 nights (Friday - Monday).
- Mini midweek stays are available for just 2 nights during term time.
- Dog charge is £25 per dog per stay, maximum of 3 dogs per tent.
Top 5 things to do nearby
- You can't visit Nature's Nest without doing the 2 minute walk down to the River Wye. From here you can join up with the footpaths and bridleway to go exploring, with pubs on route! If hill climbing is more your style then why not visit the popular Malvern hills.
- Hire one the sites 6 e-bikes or bring your own for a picturesque trip around the local villages. Follow the provided mapped out routes or simply pop out to get some milk and eggs. Try out a thrill seekers trip to Symonds Yat mountain bike centre, where you can also hire bikes. Symonds Yat also has a great family trail.
- With the picturesque River Wye on your doorstep, canoeing is a great activity to fill your trip with. Bring your own and make the most of the private access, or book with one of the local rental companies. Kayaking and stand up paddle boarding are also great on the river. The site can provide paddleboards, or try Hereford Canoe Hire who are in an ideal location as you can start at their site and get off at Nature's Nest.
- The award winning Cottage of Content is approximately a 15 minute off road/road walk or 20 minute road walk into the neighbouring village of Carey. Make sure you book in advance as it can get busy especially on the weekend. The New Harp Inn, Hoarwithy and the amazing, The Loughpool, Sellack are short drives away.
- For family fun try the Maze at Symonds Yat which also has a butterfly zoo and crazy golf on the same site, or for little ones try the Little Blue Elephant Play Cafe, or maybe try you hand at The Viking Games, traditional nordic games adapted for twenty-first century fun!
